Position Overview: Family Leather is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR professional to join our team. As an HR professional, you will play a vital role in supporting our employees and fostering a positive and productive work environment. You will be responsible for various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and policy implementation. Your expertise and guidance will contribute to the growth and success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and selection.
- Conduct new employee onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the organization.
- Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Promote positive employee relations by addressing and resolving employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts.
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, motivation, and satisfaction.
- Performance Management:
- Coordinate performance appraisal processes, providing guidance to managers and employees on goal setting, performance feedback, and development plans.
- Support performance improvement plans and provide coaching and counseling when necessary.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Organize and deliver training sessions on topics such as leadership development, communication skills, and workplace ethics.
- HR Policies and Compliance:
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, keeping abreast of changes and implementing necessary adjustments.
- Compensation and Benefits:
- Administer employee compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, bonuses, and employee benefits enrollment.
- HR Data Management:
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in HR systems.
- Prepare HR reports and metrics to support decision-making and provide insights on HR trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in HR roles, preferably in the retail or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
